BOSQUE ESCONDIDO FAMILY COMPOUND - ALBUQUERQUE, NM.

Bosque Escondido is the vision of a local developer to create a family compound for themselves and immediate relatives IN Albuquerque's North Valley.  Their vision was to create a sense of being hidden away in the bosque (the area along the Rio Grande with its distinct cottonwood tree canopy) while being some distance away. While their immediate needs were to build this for their family members, they wanted to design it so that homes could change owners without introducing many aesthetic alterations and keeping with the original intent of the compound. This is the basic premise of a Home Owners Association or HOA. To plan for this, Place Integrated helped the owner strategize for phasing in various improvements and additions while beginning to grow the "bosque" of cottonwoods on site. PI provided an irrigation master plan and a comprehensive guidance document for current and future owners to help maintain this general aesthetic while allowing for individual creativity and style.
